Aaron BlakeAaron Blake – Community Preparedness  Coordinator

Aaron works at the Idaho Office of Emergency Management as the Community Preparedness Coordinator. He will be speaking about Preparedness Considerations and Government Response.

He is an Idaho native, grew up in a “prepper” family, and worked in his family’s emergency preparedness store in Boise for several years. He served as an active-duty Air Force officer for 10 years, in the AF Reserve for four years, and is currently in the Idaho Air National Guard.

He holds a BA in Social Work and an MBA in Logistics Management. He has lived through and helped people recover from earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, winter storms, and flooding. He is an alternative energy enthusiast and holds a patent for improvements to a nuclear fusion reactor design. He lives in the Boise area with his wife and three children, chickens and ducks, cats and a rat.
