John David Shepherd – Life by Nature: Surviving with Minerals and Silver
John D. Shepherd is the CEO and Owner of Bio Nativus Inc., a Utah based Mineral and Nutritional Supplement Company providing products to Health Care Professionals throughout the United States, Canada, and other International Countries as well. He has served on several Natural Medical College boards as a Trustee and Board Member.
John also served as a Trustee on the Board of Trustees for the North West Chiropractic College, Portland, Oregon. He has been involved in state and National Natural health legislation and consults with industry formulary personnel and manufacturers.
While at Weber State University John consulted with several private companies in the capacity of Organizational and Behavioral Management. In this capacity he became aware of the impressive impact of Minerals and Nutrition on individual output and throughput. Healthy employees and administrators make for a thriving workplace environment. John worked in executive management for three years then decided to start his own company dealing with Health Care professionals. That was in 1996. Twenty years later, they now serve over four thousand committed professional and private label customers.
Professional & Motivational Speaker
John has been a popular speaker to professional associations on Minerals & Nutrition.
Barm professional Medical Doctor Association invited him to be a key note speaker at their convention in San Paulo, Brazil in September of 2014.
He has spoken often to Doctors and Health Care Professionals at the ANMA convention in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Zyto Dermal Scanning Group has had him speak on Ionic Mineral conduction in the human body.
He has given many presentations in Clinics and Private settings.
After college graduation John began his professional career as an English Teacher and Debate coach at Fontana High School in Fontana, California. At the Secondary level for only four years he gained National recognition in Forensics placing a young man in the U.S. Senate page program and competitors in extemporary and impromptu speaking. He gained Tenor status in his first year.
At the end of just four years at the Jr. High and High School levels, John was offered the Director position at Pasadena City College LDS Institute and California Institute of Technology. He took their enrollment from 15 to 225 students in just two years. He was then transferred to the University Of Southern California Institute. He then started his First Clinical Counseling practice in Arcadia, California.
One year after establishing a successful Counseling practice, John was again asked to return to the educational arena to direct programs in the Washington D. C. area of Northern Virginia Fairfax Junior College, George Mason University, and the University of Maryland.
While in the Washington D.C. area John established the Counseling and Development Center in Vienna, Virginia. He was asked to produce and Host the radio talk show program of Family forum at radio station WGTS in Columbia, Maryland. John and his family stayed in the Washington. In 1984 John was offered the executive Vice President position with a publishing company in Adrian, Michigan. Here he remained for three years growing the company to five times in size. He then took over a manufacturing company in Utah again doubling its’ size in fourteen months.
In 1990 He took a position at Weber State University as the Lead Career Counselor and Psychometrist. While there John did some management consulting with several companies in the Ogden area. It was while doing psych workup for a Mineral company that He became aware of the huge impact minerals had on the health of many people. Kellie Knudsen helped recruit John into the Health and Nutrition industry. Both are still working hard at Bio Nativus to this day.
